I saw a new concept for building traffic to your website, and I was so impressed with it, I bought the script and setup a site. This new concept involves owning and redefining words and directing them to your website. For example, you may buy the word ‘Computer’ for $8 and it will link to your site dedicated to Computer. The word ‘Computer‘ will then be the gateway to your site and the definition will be changed. No longer will the word Computer mean ‘A machine for performing calculations automatically’, instead it will now be represented visually by ‘WordLinkFX.com’s Site’. So far, Google has went nuts indexing this site with over 500 index hits a day. The links on this site are right in the path of the Google BOT’s. What better way to get indexed, and build traffic to your sites.

I have been using Us Free Ads for some time now, and it is a great way to promote your websites. I have had some of my ads get listed on page 1 of google within 20 minutes of posting my ad. If your looking for traffic for your site and great google rankings, I recommend using Us Free Ads. Us Free Ads has a free service, but I recommend using their membership service which will cost you $10.00 per month. The membership service allows unlimited ads and numerous benefits as opposed to the free service which only allows a limited number of ads. Here are some great tips for great google ranking with your classified ads.

• Choose a title that has less than 700,000 competing sites in google. You can do the “allintitle: your title” command in google to get that count.
• Write 200-300 words to pitch your site.
• Highlight different keywords with their associated pages inside your website.
• Make sure you have an H1 heading in your ad.
• Finish off with your send-off: Visit “the name of your site + keywords” for great discounts today.
• If your ad is selling anything, insert at least one picture in the gallery and in your post.
• Quantity is better than quality. Meaning you should duplicate your ads all over different categories inside of usfreeads.

1. Do NOT overuse your keywords. There is a such thing as”too much” and Google does NOT like that. A healthydensity is 3-5%.

2. You can bold some keywords or put some keywords initalics, it doesn’t hurt. However, it is not proven that thismakes a difference to Google when crawling your site.

3. Linking TO your lens or blog/site? Make sure a keyword isin the anchor text.

4. Make sure your keyword is in your url. For example, ifyour lens is about “puppy care”, name your lenswww.Squidoo.com/puppy-care. Use dashes betweenkeywords in the url.

5. No need to overload your lens with content. If you areusing Squidoo as a “landing page” then your goal is to givethem info and then send them on their way. Make sure tohave no less than  4 modules in your lens or else Squidoo willsee your lens as incomplete and may deactivate/delete it.

6. Do not forget the request of Squidoo to make sure a lensis a relevant web presence on it’s own. Meaning - your lensoffers unique information and is not a “click here to myaffiliate product” type page.
 
7. Remember, if you make a good lens, others may want tolink to you, too. Quality pays off in many ways.

10. When researching a potential lens idea, look at thecompetition you will have in the tops spots on Google. Copythem. Now, I did not say “Copy/PASTE” them, I said copythem….follow their example. Google sees that page as anauthority site for some reason….figure out WHY and do thatwith your lens.

11. Try and keep about half of your keywords at the top ofyour lens.

12. Your intro module is MUCHO important. Make sure yourkeyword density is in line with Googles needs.

13. Articles help lenses, too. Write articles and submit toarticle directories.

14. If you want these same articles on your site or blog, too,publish the article to your site or blog first. After Googleindexes that content THEN submit them to the articledirectories.

15. When writing your title, keep in mind this basic concept.First words tell, the last words sell. The first words in your
title will “tell” the searcher what they have found, the lastwords will “sell” it to them and get them to click thru.Example: Easy Weight Loss - How to Lose 2 Pounds a DayThe first part of the title answers their request (searching foreasy weight loss), the last part sells the click-thru.

16. Make sure your title and url are all relevant to thecontent on your page.

17. Content, Content, Content. Same as with any otherindexed real estate on the web, your lens will be judged byit’s content. Don’t slack off here. Have unique, useful, andrelevant content, preferably more text than images.

18. Proof your lens. Seriously, run thru it and spell check,make sure any HTML is coding properly..the whole she-bang.

19. Link to other lenses (preferably your own) that arerelevant to the lens you are making. use proper linking SEO.

20. Activate your “contact me” option.

21. Edit your bio… add a graphic.

22. Make sure your lens is visually appealing to the viewers.After all, it is all about the viewer. Yes, you need Google tosend them there, but it is up to YOU to convert them and KEEP them there.

23. Socialize in the Squidoo community. Sign guestbooks.Leave genuine comments and text link back to your lenswith relevant keywords.

24. A sure-fire SEO tip is a simple one. Have the BESTcontent in for your keywords.

25. Join groups on Squidoo relevant to your lens.

26. RSS feeds help keep a lens “fresh”.

27. Check your Squidoo stats occasionally and see if thereare any keywords you need to “spruce up”

28. When linking TO your lens, keep the end slash at the endof the url. Example: www.squidoo.com/link-to-me/

29. Add an image to your intro module. Viewers like picturesand this also provides and image for your lens when usingthe “featured lenses” module on other lenses.

30. When it is all said and done, Google is simply apopularity contest. Think back to grade-school and pickingteams for kickball. You could’ve been the BEST kickballplayer, or the fastest runner, but if no one points to you, youdon’t get picked. Google plays that same way. The bestcontent and most relevant sites get over-looked because the”cool kids” aren’t pointing to it. In this case, the “cool kids”are high PR sites that link to YOU. Social bookmarking sitesREALLY help with this. Do not over-look their power.

Of course there is an up side to going with a free web hosting service.

The obvious is it’s free. There will never be fee for your domain name. Unfortunately that’s about the only up side I can see.
The main downside to selecting a free web hosting service is the advertisements and pop-ups that are non stop. Also you URL will have their company name in it, for example username.freeserversz.com.
Free web hosting services usually allow a lower bandwidth then paid hosts. Sometimes free web hosting sites have been known to change their terms & conditions, or even cancel their free hosts and force you to either pay them or lose your site. In essence, the free host controls everything you and your website does, and this isn’t good. If you ever want to monetize your site in the future, you’ll be severely limited with what you can do. How can you monetize your site if you don’t control it?
If you are planning on using your website as a person site for family and friends, then a free web hosting is sufficient. However if you are using your website for business purposes, then like mentioned before it is highly recommended you invest in a paid web hosting service.
There is only one downside to paid hosting, they cost you money. However there are many upsides included in this investment. With paid hosting you host your own domain, so if you change the web hosting service in the future you can easily transfer the domain to your new provider with out any loss of traffic.
Paid hosting services usually offer 24/7 customer support through email, live-chat, or toll-free phone support. With paid hosting you are generally offered enough disk space and bandwidth.
