How To View Films Online
I have made a sampling of the more popular movies put up on the big screen in 2008. These are some of the films that I think you might like. I hope you find some films here that are worth watching.
WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: It was a wild night in Las Vegas. Joy and Jack, who had just met, get up the next day and find out that they are married. After winning a huge jackpot, the question is who should get the money, so they try to settle it in court. It is decided that the two must stay married for a few months, and try to make their marriage work. With an eye on the jackpot, they conspire to make each other quit the marriage, as they are both determined to wind up with all the money.
10,000 B.C.: This cinematic production sends us back to prehistoric times. When a warlike tribe storms the Yaghai people, they kidnap the beautiful Evolet. A strong young hunter, D’Leh, who is in love with her, organizes a band of hunters to chase down these warmongers, and save her, and the rest of the captured tribe members.
TWENTY ONE: Twenty One basically recounts the actual tale of M.I.T. wiz kids who formed a team of blackjack players that beat the casinos. These wiz kids learned to beat the game, and then performed an assault on the casinos. To play in Las Vegas, where players who beat the game can be banned from playing, they had to change casinos often, and disguise themselves, so he wouldn’t get caught. Twenty One is based on the book that explains how these kids made millions playing blackjack.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his missing brother, science professor Trevor Anderson explores caves in Iceland, and that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. This is a new version of the original 1959 movie that was formed from the classic novel by renowned author Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.
TROPIC THUNDER: With an abundance of acting talent this movie is a classic spoof. In order to inspire his underachieving super stars to make a true epic masterpiece, the desperate director into the middle of nowhere, and leaves them there by themselves. His theory is to frighten them so they will produce a work of genius, which will be caught on hidden cameras in the area. When the director walks over a land mine and is blown apart, the spoiled actors are on there own, and they think there acting, but the bullets flying are actually real. Written, directed, and acted in, by Ben Stiller.
STEP BROTHERS: Two forty year old child adults, who both live at home with one parent, find themselves having to live in the same room because their mom and dad get married, you have one crazy situation. Casting John Reilly and Will Ferrell as the key players, and this has the makings for lots of laughs. This movie is a must see if your looking for some laughs.
Jumper: While almost drowning, David Rice discovers an amazing thing. He now knows he can transport himself to anywhere he desires to be, anytime he wants. Later, he becomes aware that he is not the only one that has this skill. After he becomes used to jumping around the world, he finds out that there are those that want him, and all the jumpers wiped out. Now he is in a fight for survival, as these paladins try to track him down.
GET SMART: Maxwell Smart (agent 86) is back, “and loving it”. The evil organization (KAOS) verses the good guys (CONTROL), agents hidden in plants, and all the classic quotes. It is worth the look back at the world of KAOS and CONTROL.
BOLT: Bolt: This film is a fun animation. Bolt is a dog actor, who plays the role of a dog that has superpowers. His problem is that he honestly believes he has superpowers. After he is unexpectedly thrown into the real world, he discovers that he is just a dog. Needing to find his way home, he is aided by Mittens, the cat, and Rhino, the hamster.
Most people buy or rent these movies, so they can see them in the comfort of their living rooms. A more recent method for getting films is by downloading them directly from online sources. Online providers have websites that will download almost any film you can think of.
