Adobe Offers Open Source Frameworks Media And Text Of The Platform Flash

Paris – July 21, 2009 – Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced two new open source initiatives of Adobe ® Flash ® Platform for developers, companies specialized in multimedia and publishers. Developed under the project Strobe, the framework OSMF (Open Source Media Framework) allows developers to easily create players, optimized for Adobe Flash Platform, and more robust with new features. With the framework TLF (Text Layout Framework), they can also provide their web applications functionality typographical developed. Now freely available as open source, these two frameworks will help content owners to develop their multimedia production online, enabling them to create new opportunities and monetization strategies for web publishing.
